Bob Van Oosting and Leroy Schmaltz have been importing Tropical Artifacts and Materials, creating and decorating Theme Parks, Hotels and Restaurants, not to mention, supplying props for Movies and Television, since 1956. They also sell and/or rent Island themed props for parties and special events. The store and showroom in Whittier, California is like a museum. (At one time they were commissioned by the Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles to collect artifacts in the Pacific). Drop in and look around.

Island Bazaar
The “Ukulele Paradise.” Large selection of ukuleles from the beginner models to top-of-the-line instuments. Music books, music stands, chromatic tuners and anything else you can imagine at great prices. Island Bazaar hosts several ukulele groups who meet weekly to play and socialize: “The Kolohe Ukulele Club”, “Surf City Strummers”, “Ukulele Jam”, and “String Thing.” Group ukulele lessons are offered several times a year and of course, Concerts featuring top Ukulele Entertainers.
